This was the best accomodation of our trip. James was brilliant on check in and gave us lots of information and advice on must do things on our trip, including taking the scenic drive through the Catlins to Dunedin. We were really thankful for this as we took his advice and had the best day exploring waterfalls and lighthouses. The room was so clean, spacious and a lot of care has gone into the attention to detail. Was really well priced as well. Can’t recommend it highly enough. If you are in the area you must stay here.

We had a Two Bedroom unit with bathroom, lounge and a kitchen/dining. Exactly what we wanted and was pretty much a home away from home. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and it was a nice quiet area. Location is great, close enough to town but not too close. We had a car and it was a good spot to drive from, in any direction. Amazing value for money.

Hotel staff were extremely helpful. Gave us several recommendations, not just for Invercargill, but places to see and on our way to Oamaru. Recommendations were spot on. We especially enjoyed the Lost Gypsy Gallery in Papatowai. The room was spacious with a decent kitchenette. Allowed us to prepare a light breakfast and sandwiches for the road. LOVED having Netflix! Got to finish watching season two of Yellowstone! Walking distance to Queens Park and downtown Invercargill.

Loved the spa bath. We had had a full days travel on one boat and two flights and were shattered. It was the best treat ever. So good having extra towels as in my enthusiasm I dropped one into the full bath. Lovely bed. Everything you need in the kitchen with a full oven and good sized fridge. Spotlessly clean.

From the warm and friendly welcome until we left we could not fault the lovely staff, or our accommodation. Extremly clean, staff so helpful. close to everything = awesome. So Highley recommend to others and we will be back to stay. Loved our stay so much. Throughout our journer around the South Island " Tower Lodge Motel" met the highest standard in everyway possible, from friendliness of staff, Cleaninest and space of room. N to all shops etc.

A wonderful motel with lovely owners who gave us a very warm welcome to our 2 nights stop. The rooms were very clean and had everything you needed as well as a washing machine/dryer for guests. We would highly recommend this motel. We were informed about a local shuttle bus that would take us to the local hotel and restaurant and return us. This was much appreciated after a long day of driving.

Very good location adjacent to Queens gardens and historic water tower. Offered discount vouchers to several restaurants. Extensive information on eateries. Reception was very helpful with information on attractions we wanted to see. The lounge/kitchen area was very comfortable with sofa, sofa bed and good sized table.

We stayed for two nights either side of doing the Rakiura great walk on Stewart island (something every Kiwi should do). The motel is great value, very large room, huge comfy bed, great shower pressure, great selection of tv and media viewing and full kitchen. What we enjoyed the most though was the warm, friendly, down to earth southern hospitality of the hosts. On the day of our last nights booking the ferry back from stewart island was cancelled in the last minute which was going to be a disaster for us. But a quick call with James at the motel and he said he would ferry our stored luggage to the airport the next day and cancel our booking for the night free of charge. Which was a really nice offer and helped us greatly. Luckily though, we managed to organise a chartered flight and made it back for the night to a hot shower, hot meal and comfy bed . We would happily stay at tower lodge again and fully recommend it.
